Senior IT Application Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will serve as the main point of contact for business applications in your designated area, providing guidance to stakeholders regarding their usage and further development.

• You will assess business requirements and processes, identifying appropriate software solutions that align with our current application landscape.

• You will oversee external service providers and software vendors, acting as the liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners.

• You will assist in the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of new applications, including matters related to contracts and licensing.

• You will take full ownership of the entire application lifecycle, from selection and implementation to continuous optimization and improvement.

• You will play a key role in the development of our application portfolio, aiding in the standardization, harmonization, and integration of our systems landscape.

⛳️ Requirements

• You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar qualification.

• You possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in Application Management or a similar role.

• You have experience in selecting, implementing, and managing standard software solutions, ideally with a focus on software licensing matters.

• You have a solid understanding of business processes and how they are supported by contemporary business applications.

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture, system integrations, and interface management is advantageous.

• You are known for your structured, self-motivated working style, along with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• You are fluent in both German and English, in both written and spoken forms.
