Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain native iOS functionalities in Swift, encompassing architecture, implementation, and App Store deployment.

• Collaborate with design and product teams to transform intricate financial processes into intuitive, responsive mobile experiences.

• Influence how the application manages authentication, account status, transactions, errors, and disrupted workflows.

• Partner with backend and platform engineers to establish dependable app-facing contracts.

• Enhance quality through strategic testing, observability, code reviews, and a focus on actual user behavior.

• Contribute to setting the technical direction for iOS while mentoring fellow engineers through teamwork and constructive feedback.

• Take ownership of features from initial product discussions to release and ongoing enhancements, closely collaborating with design, product, and engineers across the entire stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in launching and enhancing production iOS applications using Swift.

• Proficient in SwiftUI with practical knowledge of UIKit where applicable to the product.

• Strong understanding of app architecture, asynchronous operations, state management, networking, and data persistence.

• Experience in designing applications with considerations for security, privacy, accessibility, and performance.

• Capability to take charge of ambiguous issues, make clear trade-offs, and engage others in the process.

• Nice to have: experience with financial products, trading, digital assets, or wallets.

• Nice to have: experience in developing applications that manage sensitive account or transaction processes.

• Nice to have: familiarity with release automation, analytics, and crash monitoring.
