Senior Investment Associate – 12 Month FTC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide effective leadership throughout the entire lifecycle of funding assessments and portfolio management related to offshore wind supply chains.

• Serve as the primary contact for organizations participating in the OWGP due diligence process.

• Prepare summary documents for the Preliminary Investment Committee that detail proposal quality and outline due diligence requirements.

• Coordinate both internal and external due diligence workstreams while managing necessary documentation (checklists, Q&A, due diligence information lists).

• Deliver comprehensive internal financial, commercial, and market due diligence on various UK offshore wind supply chain opportunities.

• Implement proportionate, resilient, and scalable assessment frameworks as the funding portfolio expands.

• Create, review, and enhance financial models for internal OWGP purposes and investment evaluations.

• Aid decision-making by stress-testing assumptions and evaluating value-for-money.

• Assist in developing frameworks for portfolio reporting and forecasting.

• Provide analysis and insights for OWGP Board papers and internal management reports.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues within OWGP to ensure investments align with the goals of the Industrial Growth Plan.

• Engage with co-investors, public funding bodies, and delivery partners to foster viable investment structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in investment, corporate finance, financial analysis, due diligence, or a closely related field.

• Strong and demonstrable financial modeling and analytical skills.

• Ability to interpret and analyze corporate accounts and investment proposals.

• A degree in finance, economics, engineering, science, or a related field.

• A clear and confident communicator capable of engaging with senior stakeholders and investment committees.
