Senior Investigator, Special Investigations Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough investigations into potential intellectual property infringements by employing advanced OSINT methodologies.

• Utilize a range of online resources to collect pertinent information.

• Implement effective search techniques to reveal concealed infrastructures and key individuals or organizations involved in IP-related crimes.

• Analyze code and conduct network traffic assessments to comprehend the operations of illicit websites.

• Create scripts using Python (or similar languages) to streamline investigative processes.

• Draft comprehensive criminal referrals based on investigative outcomes.

• Remain updated on the latest trends and methodologies within the OSINT domain.

• Collaborate with both internal and external partners to build robust cases.

• Present insights and recommendations to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in conducting high-stakes OSINT investigations.

• Proven track record of executing and documenting named attribution investigations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced OSINT techniques, including social engineering, infiltration, data mining, automation, and dark web exploration.

• Expertise in network traffic analysis and a solid understanding of network protocols.

• Experience in interpreting and analyzing code to grasp its functionality.

• Basic knowledge of Python (or similar languages) for developing automation scripts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to conduct investigations that involve foreign languages.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Competence to work independently with minimal supervision.
