EKG Technician, SME, Contract Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate course materials for clinical precision, thoroughness, and alignment with the NHA CET exam.

• Offer expert insights on inaccuracies, deficiencies, outdated information, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Confirm that exam preparation materials correspond to the domains of the NHA Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam.

• Work alongside our academic team and content provider to address inquiries and clarify standards.

• Authorize final content prior to the course being launched.

• After launch, dedicate one hour per week for virtual office hours to assist enrolled students.

• Engage in course and/or marketing initiatives (such as photos, bios, recorded segments, or testimonials) as mutually agreed upon.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current NHA CET (Certified EKG Technician) certification.

• 3–4 years of experience as an EKG/ECG technician in a clinical environment.

• Minimum of 2 years of active EKG acquisition and rhythm interpretation experience within the last 5 years.

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Cardiovascular Technology, Health Sciences, or a related field (preferred).

• Over 5 years of experience in various clinical settings (hospital, cardiology clinic, ambulatory care, etc.) (preferred).

• Experience with 12-lead interpretation, Holter monitoring, or stress testing (preferred).

• Experience in teaching, precepting, or curriculum development (preferred).
