Senior Investigator, Special Investigations Unit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough investigations into potential intellectual property (IP) violations.

• Utilize a range of online resources, including social media platforms and tools for dark web monitoring.

• Employ effective search techniques to reveal concealed infrastructures.

• Analyze code and conduct network traffic assessments to gain insights into unlawful websites.

• Create scripts using Python or similar programming languages to automate various tasks.

• Convert findings into actionable reports.

• Draft comprehensive criminal referrals based on investigative results.

• Remain up-to-date with emerging trends within the OSINT domain.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to strengthen case development.

• Present findings and recommendations to clients.

• Stay informed about the evolving landscape of IP laws and regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in executing high-stakes OSINT investigations.

• Proven track record in conducting and documenting named attribution investigations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced OSINT methodologies.

• Expertise in network traffic analysis and a solid understanding of network protocols.

• Experience in reading and interpreting code.

• Basic knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Capability to conduct investigations that involve foreign languages.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in managing and prioritizing multiple investigations concurrently.

• Basic understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations.
