Senior Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute intricate investigations into intellectual property violations utilizing advanced OSINT techniques and digital intelligence tools.

• Collect and evaluate data from various online platforms, including websites, social media, forums, and dark web spaces.

• Detect counterfeit activities, trademark, and copyright infringements by revealing concealed infrastructures, networks, and key players.

• Conduct code reviews, analyze network traffic, and perform technical inquiries to comprehend illicit websites, applications, and devices.

• Create and implement automation scripts (such as Python) to enhance the efficiency of investigative processes.

• Compile thorough investigative reports, criminal referrals, and actionable recommendations to assist in enforcement and legal proceedings.

• Collaborate with analysts, investigators, attorneys, law enforcement, and clients to further investigations and meet case goals.

• Present discoveries to stakeholders, converting intricate technical information into clear, actionable insights.

• Sustain expertise in OSINT methodologies, intellectual property legislation, emerging threats, and advancing technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in conducting complex OSINT investigations.

• Advanced proficiency in OSINT methodologies, including social engineering, infiltration, data mining, automation, and dark web research.

• Strong technical abilities in network traffic analysis, code reviews, and Python (or similar) scripting for investigative automation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex findings to various audiences and generating detailed investigative reports.

• Experience in conducting investigations in foreign languages and operating in international settings.

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and investigative judgment, with the capability to work independently and manage multiple cases concurrently.

• Familiarity with intellectual property laws and the ability to translate legal concepts into effective investigative strategies.

• Proven success in identifying and pursuing infringers, along with a commitment to IP protection, ethical practices, and cross-functional teamwork.
