Senior Intelligence Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the architecture and long-term strategy of the intelligence-fusion platform.

• Make informed technical decisions that will shape the platform’s future trajectory.

• Design detection and correlation methodologies to foresee emerging manipulation and evasion tactics.

• Integrate new on-chain and OSINT data sources into the platform.

• Extract additional insights from both existing and previously unused data sources.

• Develop automation that links signal detection to case assignment.

• Eliminate manual processes that hinder investigators' efficiency.

• Collaborate with analysts and investigators to transform instincts and workflows into repeatable, auditable tools.

• Ensure that tools can withstand legal scrutiny.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven history of managing a complex data system comprehensively over a multi-year period.

• Experience in making architectural decisions that significantly enhance systems.

• Senior-level experience in data or detection engineering at scale.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Competence in Python or a similar programming language.

• Familiarity with data pipeline development.

• Experience with both scheduled and event-driven systems.

• In-depth practical knowledge of data fusion and entity resolution.

• Capability to resolve diverse, messy inputs into a unified entity model.

• Ability to assess scoring and corroboration to differentiate signals from noise.

• Comfort in direct interaction with investigators and analysts.

• Skill in translating domain instincts into effective technical solutions.

• Commitment to ensuring that tools pass legal and audit evaluations.

• Genuine interest in maintaining market integrity and identifying evasion.

• Previous experience working with fraud, trust and safety, or investigations teams is advantageous.

• Familiarity with on-chain or cryptocurrency data analysis, including blockchain transaction data or wallet clustering, is a plus.

• Must reside in the U.S.
