This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and sustain RESTful APIs and data integration services that link cloud-hosted applications, case management systems, and external solutions.
• Establish and oversee ETL pipelines for both structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring precision, completeness, and consistency.
• Formulate data transformation, mapping, and reconciliation logic utilizing scripting languages and integration frameworks.
• Guarantee interoperability through the management of API gateways, secure token handling, and encryption protocols (TLS, AES).
• Conduct data validation and quality assurance testing on integration transactions to maintain integrity across various environments.
• Collaborate with database administrators to craft optimized schemas, stored procedures, and indexing strategies that improve data access and performance.
• Implement and supervise event-driven integrations utilizing message queues or streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, SNS/SQS).
• Engage in Agile sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical reviews to ensure integration tasks are aligned with program priorities.
• Provide support for the sustainment and troubleshooting of data synchronization, latency, and connectivity issues across IL2–IL5 cloud tiers.
• Work in close coordination with cybersecurity teams to ensure adherence to DoD RMF, STIG, and Zero Trust security principles.
• Create and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs), API specifications, and integration testing documentation.
• At least 7 years of experience in developing and maintaining data integrations or middleware solutions.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or C# for backend development.
• Skilled in API frameworks (FastAPI, Spring Boot, .NET Core) and data integration tools (AWS Glue, Talend, MuleSoft, or Apache NiFi).
• Experience in supporting large-scale federal or defense programs using Agile or DevSecOps methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect; CompTIA Security+ CE; Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or equivalent Agile certification.
