
Senior Integrated Paid Media Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create media strategies driven by insights that align with the client's business objectives, communication goals, KPIs, and budgetary constraints.
• Convert audience research into cohesive media recommendations that span across Search, Social, Programmatic, Display, Video, CTV, Audio, Broadcast, Print, OOH, and innovative platforms.
• Perform audience analysis utilizing tools such as MRI-Simmons, GWI, eMarketer, Nielsen, and various first-party data sources.
• Develop detailed media plans encompassing channel strategy, audience targeting, flighting schedules, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Spot opportunities to experiment with new media channels, technologies, AI capabilities, and the features of emerging platforms to enhance campaign performance.
• Work in tandem with client leadership, creative, analytics, and digital teams to ensure that the media strategy aligns with the overall communications initiatives.
• Execute media purchases directly on major advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other self-service platforms.
• Create RFPs, assess proposals, negotiate pricing, secure added value, and manage relationships with publishers and vendors.
• Issue insertion orders, supervise trafficking, coordinate creative delivery, and ensure that campaigns are launched accurately and on time.
• Maintain thorough campaign documentation, including media plans, purchase summaries, specifications, UTMs, authorization tracking, and setup materials.
• Monitor real-time campaign performance and pacing across various channels.
• Analyze key performance indicators including impressions, reach, CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS, VCR, engagement, and conversion metrics.
• Provide data-driven optimization suggestions regarding audience targeting, creative content, bidding strategies, placements, frequency, and budget management.
• Resolve tracking, tagging, pixel implementation, and delivery issues in collaboration with analytics and technical teams.
• Lead structured testing initiatives to enhance the efficacy of campaigns continuously.
• Oversee campaign budgets from initial planning through to final reconciliation.
• Monitor authorizations, insertion orders, modifications, vendor invoices, and monthly billing cycles.
• Ensure that campaigns are executed efficiently without exceeding or falling short of budget allocations.
• Proactively identify and address delivery discrepancies with vendors.
• Develop reports that extend beyond performance metrics to clarify: What occurred, Why it occurred, Why it is significant, and What actions should be taken next.
• Clearly present campaign performance and strategic recommendations to clients and internal leadership.
• Translate complex media data into actionable business insights and recommendations for future planning.
• Confidently lead media discussions during client meetings, demonstrating credibility and expertise.
• Produce campaign wrap reports, benchmark analyses, and strategic recommendations that guide future investments.
• Over 5 years of experience in paid media, showcasing ownership of strategy, planning, buying, optimization, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Reddit, Snapchat, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager is preferred.
• Proven ability to develop integrated media plans that encompass both digital and traditional channels.
• Strong grasp of audience research, campaign measurement, attribution, and media analytics.
• Experience in direct negotiations with media vendors.
• Solid financial management skills, including monitoring budget pacing, authorizations, insertion orders, and invoice reconciliation.
• Exceptional presentation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
• Keen attention to detail and the capability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
