Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with local and national teams to create Instrumentation and Control (I&C) designs.

• Design I&C systems, which encompass specifications, control strategies, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.

• Execute control system startups for both industrial and municipal projects.

• Supervise the design of control panels and system architecture, ensuring compliance with cyber-security standards.

• Uphold the technical quality in controls-related electrical designs and the selection of instrumentation and control equipment.

• Offer mentorship and assistance to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in I&C engineering or a related discipline.

• Over 20 years of experience as an instrumentation and control design engineer for government, municipal, and/or industrial water and wastewater projects, or with private-sector clients.

• Profound understanding of industrial process control networking, control strategies, and concepts related to control system cyber security.

• Comprehensive knowledge of process instrumentation equipment, including controllers and HMI systems.

• Competency in collaborating with engineers/designers in Revit/BIM environments, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD or Bentley P&ID software.

• Must have achieved or be in the process of obtaining professional registration (P.E.).
