This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create instructional content and learning materials for ISC2 Education outputs.
• Utilize instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories to develop impactful learning experiences.
• Shape course statements and analysis documents to define the scope of learning projects.
• Oversee subject matter experts and third-party vendors in the creation of interactive learning solutions.
• Work alongside multimedia and development teams to produce engaging educational assets.
• Guide stakeholders in assessing learning outcomes and implementing necessary updates or revisions.
• Facilitate team professional development in technology-specific and instructional design best practices.
• Investigate internal and external resources for the development of instructional and learner materials.
• Assess and refine course content designs to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Stay updated on curriculum, learning design, development tools, and contemporary learning preferences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Online Learning, or a related IT discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in curriculum and learning design, development, and implementation.
• Proficient understanding of Learning Management Systems; D2L is preferred.
• Exceptional capability to collaborate with subject matter experts to guide the development of online course assets and ensure standards alignment.
• Ability to apply advanced adult learning and instructional design principles to create effective distance-learning courses.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Experience with assessment development or standards alignment is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools or a demonstrated eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience in the association sector is a plus.
• Willingness to work normal and extended business hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
• This position is not open to residents of California.
• Capability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally carry and/or lift equipment or packages weighing up to 25 lbs.
