Senior Innovation Principal, Scale

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify, evaluate, advance, and activate innovation opportunities within designated domain areas.

• Cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Assess the potential value that innovation opportunities can bring to the organization.

• Recognize and articulate problems and areas of opportunity, formulate hypotheses, and select suitable testing methods to validate these assumptions.

• Lead and provide guidance to multiple project teams on project design, execution, and decisions on when to pivot, conclude, or transition an initiative.

• Design and oversee initiatives that require concept testing and validation, user research, or other related innovation methodologies.

• Explore new technologies, business models, markets, and consumer trends, and convert them into actionable insights.

• Document insights, learnings, and recommendations derived from projects.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with various initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in pertinent areas such as Innovation, Emerging Technology, Research & Development, Product Design, Pilot Execution, or related fields.

• Preferred industry experience in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology.

• Proven experience leading projects and initiatives within creative environments, whether in consulting or large corporate settings.

• Strong focus on execution with the capability to drive results and manage complex initiatives from concept through validation and transition.

• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities, including the skill to write research briefs and create presentations (PowerPoint).
