Senior Innovation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Assessing and evaluating current claims workflows, data, and essential metrics to pinpoint opportunities for enhanced efficiency, effectiveness, or precision.

• Formulating a perspective and recommending strategies grounded in findings while recognizing operational adjustments or implications.

• Compiling, summarizing, and presenting reports and/or presentations regarding findings or the status of projects.

• Collaborating with Operations and Product teams to collect, define, and prioritize requirements, features, and specifications.

• Identifying, tracking, and overseeing project risks and anticipated benefits.

• Supporting the Director of Claims Innovation in setting priorities, goals, and objectives.

• Coordinating with GEICO’s Engineering, Product, AI, R&D, Data Science, and Claims Operations teams to facilitate the implementation of new product features, services, and/or processes.

• Overseeing pilot programs, proofs of concept, or A/B testing while reporting on performance and progress.

• Engaging in innovation workshops, ideation sessions, or design sprints aimed at discovering creative solutions to challenges.

• Fostering a culture of innovation, agility, continuous improvement, openness, and care.

• Staying informed about industry, market, and company trends, techniques, and capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in the Insurance and/or InsurTech sectors, ideally within claims.

• Background in innovation or transformation roles, preferably within property and casualty insurance.

• Proven expertise in innovation methodologies, processes, and principles.

• Strong communicator capable of clearly conveying a shared strategic vision.

• Experience collaborating with various stakeholders.

• Ability to recognize and act on opportunities presented by evolving processes and technology.
