Senior Ingeniero de Datos – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage data solutions that align with business needs.

• Oversee the availability, performance, and security of platforms and databases.

• Participate in the implementation, configuration, and support of solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Monitor, optimize, and maintain data infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity.

• Collaborate with technical teams on the implementation of infrastructure and data solutions.

• Apply best practices in architecture, management, security, and operation of Oracle platforms.

• Document configurations, procedures, and implemented solutions.

• Provide technical support and engage in continuous improvement initiatives for the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Database Engineer, or in related roles focused on data management and platforms.

• Experience in designing, implementing, managing, and supporting data solutions and databases.

• Knowledge of infrastructure platforms and cloud services, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Experience working in enterprise environments with Oracle databases and related technologies.

• Ability to implement best practices for administration, availability, security, and performance of data platforms.

• Possession of at least one of the following Oracle certifications (mandatory requirement): Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) and Private Cloud at Customer (PCC) 2021 Solution Engineer Specialist, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Architect Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Architect Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Networking Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Cloud Operations Professional, OCI Foundations Associate, OCI Architect Associate, OCI Architect Professional, OCI Cloud Operations Professional, OCI Networking Professional, OCI Security Professional, OCI DevOps Professional, OCI Observability Professional, OCI Migration Architect Professional.
