Junior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Provide support and assistance for incidents related to the data platform.

• Diagnose issues using dashboards, logs, and technical documentation.

• Follow up on incidents until resolution, documenting root causes.

• Execute operational processes and validate information.

• Create and maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and support guides.

• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

• Research new tools and applications in Artificial Intelligence to enhance team productivity.

• Gradually advance towards responsibilities in Data Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

• 1 to 2 years of experience (internships, personal projects, or boot camps are considered).

• Knowledge of Python, SQL, Git, and Linux.

• Basic experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.

• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an appreciation for documentation.

• Curiosity, proactivity, and a strong desire to learn.

• A proactive attitude, result-oriented focus, and passion for innovation.

• Ability to collaborate within a team and tackle challenges creatively.
