Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, test, and maintain data architectures, database systems, and processing systems.

• Utilize GCP and BigQuery to enhance data retrieval and accelerate data delivery.

• Identify, develop, and implement internal process enhancements such as automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for improved scalability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and data users to comprehend and fulfill business requirements.

• Partner with data and analytics professionals to enhance functionality within our data systems.

• Create and sustain optimal data pipeline architecture.

• Develop analytics tools that leverage the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other critical business performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a comparable role within data management.

• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Python is essential.

• Familiarity with additional cloud services and data warehousing solutions is advantageous.

• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and optimization.

• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.

• Familiarity with Vertex AI.

• Strong analytical capabilities with the skill to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with precision and attention to detail.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to work effectively under pressure.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into easily understandable terms.
