
Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Kubernetes, Hybrid Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more states.
• Design, develop, and maintain production infrastructure across hybrid environments, which include bare metal, virtualization, containers, and cloud platforms.
• Build and manage large-scale Kubernetes environments that support mission-critical services.
• Create and implement Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Consul.
• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure, deployments, and operational workflows.
• Research, assess, and deploy new infrastructure technologies and proof-of-concepts.
• Collaborate with Platform, CloudOps, and Technical Operations teams to enhance scalability, observability, and deployment processes.
• Optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and cost efficiency across distributed environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and address issues within the production infrastructure.
• Contribute to the documentation, standards, and architectural decisions related to infrastructure.
• Take ownership of infrastructure projects from the planning phase through to implementation.
• Enhance the reliability, automation, and operational efficiency of infrastructure.
• Over 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Platform Engineering, or similar fields.
• Significant production experience in operating Kubernetes environments.
• Extensive Linux/Unix systems administration experience.
• Experience in designing and managing hybrid infrastructure that spans cloud and traditional environments.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms like Grafana, ELK, VictoriaMetrics, or Datadog.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting using Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, containers, scalability, redundancy, and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with bare-metal infrastructure is a plus.
• Familiarity with Web3 or blockchain infrastructure is advantageous.
• Experience in high-scale distributed systems is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely from any location within LATAM.
