Senior Infrastructure Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide support and management for Oracle Infrastructure Platforms.

• - Oversee and maintain Oracle Engineered Systems, which encompass Oracle Private Cloud Appliance, Exadata, ZFS, and associated infrastructure components.

• - Monitor the health, capacity, and performance of platforms to ensure service availability and reliability.

• - Execute routine maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management across the supported environments.

• Manage Networking and Operating Systems.

• - Set up and support networking components such as VLANs, switches, routing, firewall coordination, and connectivity within hosted and private cloud environments.

• - Manage Linux and related operating system environments, ensuring security, patch compliance, and operational stability.

• - Assist with virtualization, storage, and system integration tasks across infrastructure platforms.

• Troubleshoot and Deliver Infrastructure Services.

• - Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure incidents, performance challenges, and service requests within established service levels.

• - Aid in the delivery of infrastructure projects, which includes implementation, migration, testing, and documentation efforts.

• - Collaborate with database, application, and customer teams to address cross-platform issues and enhance service quality.

• Contribute to Operational Excellence.

• - Document technical procedures, create support runbooks, infrastructure diagrams, and maintain operational standards.

• - Recognize opportunities for enhancing platform resilience, automation, monitoring, and service efficiency.

• - Share knowledge with team members and contribute to best practices within the infrastructure function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience in supporting enterprise infrastructure environments in a senior analyst or equivalent position.

• Demonstrated expertise with Oracle Engineered Systems, including Oracle Private Cloud Appliance, Exadata, ODA, and ZFS.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure connectivity, including switching, routing, VLANs, and firewall coordination.

• Proficient in administering Linux operating systems, including patching, hardening, and performance tuning.

• Capability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization layers.

• Experience in supporting project delivery, implementation of changes, and creation of operational documentation.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, service delivery teams, and customers.
