Senior Implementation Project Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire implementation lifecycle from the handoff from Sales to deployment in production, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support.

• Manage multiple simultaneous implementation projects across Bamboo Health's product range, which includes SaaS applications, statewide initiatives, EHR integrations, analytics solutions, and new offerings within our Care Coordination, Behavioral Health, and Controlled Substance product suite.

• Create detailed implementation strategies, project schedules, timelines, risk management plans, and communication strategies that align customer needs with business objectives.

• Act as the trusted advisor and primary liaison for customers, executive sponsors, state partners, healthcare organizations, and technical stakeholders.

• Facilitate project governance by organizing executive steering committees, status meetings, risk management sessions, issue resolution, and decision tracking.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Implementation Engineering, Product Management, Account Management, Sales, Marketing, Support, Security, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

• Collaborate with state agencies, healthcare organizations, EHR vendors, and technical teams to effectively implement complex integrations and workflows.

• Promote customer adoption by guiding organizations through implementation strategies, operational workflows, and best practices in change management.

• Identify implementation risks, technical dependencies, and organizational challenges while proactively formulating mitigation strategies.

• Evaluate project health using defined success metrics and communicate updates, risks, and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Continuously enhance implementation methodologies, documentation, templates, and operational processes to boost delivery efficiency and consistency.

• Provide product expertise and implementation insights to Product Management to enhance the customer experience and scalability of products.

• Mentor Implementation Project Leads by sharing best practices, offering project guidance, and supporting their onboarding and professional growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in leading customer-facing implementations, enterprise project management, consulting, or client delivery.

• Proven success in managing complex, cross-functional implementations from project initiation to production deployment.

• Preferred experience in healthcare technology, SaaS software, EHR integrations, interoperability, or enterprise software implementations.

• Strong grasp of project management methodologies, including scope, schedule, risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management.

• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.

• Proven ability to influence without direct authority while guiding cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for anticipating risks and creating practical solutions.

• Capability to balance strategic thinking with execution while managing multiple competing priorities.

• Experience in developing executive-level presentations, implementation documentation, and customer communications.

• Proficient with project management tools (Cloud Coach, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar) and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated ability to enhance operational processes and promote organizational best practices.

• Self-motivated with strong organizational, customer relationship, and leadership skills.
