Senior Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire implementation lifecycle: Collect business requirements, create design and walkthrough documentation, and develop solution workflow diagrams, execute product implementation, and provide enablement training for clients.

• Manage a portfolio of enterprise implementations: Take ownership of multiple customer implementations from project initiation to go-live, collaborating closely with project managers and business analysts to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.

• Design effective solutions: Establish a clear solution vision that addresses the customer's significant business challenges, delivers measurable value, and meets the needs of end users and field teams.

• Facilitate discovery workshops: Lead customer discovery sessions and present software alternatives, ensuring that requirements are gathered, comprehended, and documented, while aligning stakeholders on scope and outcomes.

• Consult on best practices: Advise clients on optimal practices for solution design and project execution, covering areas such as chart of accounts structure, job costing, WIP, progress billing, and period-end closing.

• Address challenges and adapt configurations: Diagnose customer issues, refine and enhance system configurations, and ensure that the solution remains relevant as the business evolves.

• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with key stakeholders across the client’s organization to identify uncertainties and risks within their processes and translate them into clear, actionable solution requirements.

• Present tailored solutions: Showcase how the company's technology and our QBO-focused solution stack meet each customer’s unique goals and objectives.

• Empower the team: Assist colleagues in building solutions that utilize the full suite of Company Services, enhancing delivery efficiency and consistency across projects.

• Promote continuous improvement: Contribute to the development of internal delivery processes, templates, and enablement materials that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in implementing, configuring, or administering QuickBooks Online, preferably within trades, construction, or project-based industries.

• Strong accounting foundation (US GAAP) including expertise in accrual accounting, job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion, AR/AP, payroll, sales tax, and month-end close—accounting knowledge is essential. (Job costing & WIP training can be provided if necessary)

• Practical experience with third-party applications prevalent in the trades and construction sector, such as JobTread, Knowify, and ServiceTitan, along with supporting tools like Procore, CompanyCam, Bill.com, Ramp, Gusto, and Melio.

• Proven track record of successfully leading multiple concurrent enterprise implementations from start to finish—on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Strong solution design capabilities: proficient in creating design documents, workflow diagrams, and configuration specifications that convert business requirements into operational systems.

• Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills; capable of leading discovery workshops and confidently delivering solutions to owners, controllers, and operational leaders.

• Self-motivated, highly organized, and adept at managing a portfolio of client engagements completely remotely.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

• Nice-to-Have:

• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification (Advanced preferred).

• CPA, CMA, or active progress toward certification.

• Previous experience at an accounting firm, fractional CFO/controller practice, or implementation/consulting team serving construction or trades.

• Experience integrating field operations tools (scheduling, estimating, project management) with QBO.

• Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools layered on QBO (LiveFlow, PowerBi, Fathom, Reach Reporting, etc.).

• Experience with data migrations into QBO (from QuickBooks Desktop, spreadsheets, or other accounting/ERP tools).
