Senior Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main strategic advisor for client leadership teams, consultants, carriers, and key external partners throughout the implementation process.

• Lead assessments for implementation readiness, shape governance frameworks, and facilitate strategic planning sessions for complex and transformational projects.

• Oversee executive governance structures, including steering committees, executive briefings, and escalation forums.

• Foster decision-making and consensus among senior stakeholders in uncertain or high-risk situations.

• Create and implement comprehensive onboarding and implementation strategies that align with client business goals and Included Health launch objectives.

• Manage highly complex implementation tasks with multiple dependencies, cross-functional workstreams, significant ambiguity, and unique requirements.

• Establish methods, procedures, and operational strategies for new or nuanced implementation projects with minimal supervision.

• Identify risks early, proactively develop mitigation plans, and oversee the escalation process for issues impacting projects, portfolios, or strategic objectives.

• Conduct assessments of the current state and formulate future-state recommendations that reconcile client needs, operational feasibility, and successful launches.

• Offer expert advice on organizational design, process optimization, implementation governance, and change management.

• Utilize strong judgment in ambiguous contexts, assess trade-offs, and propose solutions where precedents may be lacking.

• Act as the escalation point for strategic issues that require executive focus or broader organizational alignment.

• Build strong relationships with client executives, internal leaders, consultants, carriers, brokers, BPOs, vendors, and third-party partners.

• Influence senior internal leaders and client executives through structured recommendations, executive presence, and consultative problem-solving.

• Establish enduring partnerships that go beyond implementation, positioning clients as advocates and references for Included Health solutions.

• Mentor others, shape best practices, and enhance overall team performance and the quality of implementations.

• Operate with a significant degree of autonomy, set direction with little oversight, and serve as a resource for others navigating complex implementation challenges.

• Exercise advanced judgment on implementation strategies, governance design, escalation management, and recommendations for organizational or process improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in SaaS implementation.

• At least 5 years leading transformational programs or highly complex implementations.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Demonstrated experience within the healthcare and/or employee benefits ecosystem.

• Proven history of working with senior stakeholders, carriers, benefits administrators, consultants, and brokers.

• Established executive presence and the capability to lead complex client engagements with a high level of independence.

• Ability to manage highly complex, high-visibility, or transformational implementations that involve significant ambiguity, broader organizational impact, and executive stakeholder participation.

• Ability to shape governance frameworks and implementation strategies for nuanced client environments.

• Capacity to influence senior internal leaders, client executives, and key external partners through executive presence, strategic guidance, and consultative leadership.
