This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take a pivotal role in IFS-related initiatives.
• Challenge outdated processes and unlock standard IFS functionalities.
• Create scalable solutions that minimize complexity, costs, and external dependencies.
• Manage ongoing small improvement projects.
• Confidently support crucial business cycles (e.g., month-end close) utilizing the Jira helpdesk ticketing system and Kanban board.
• Facilitate data migration, testing strategies (SIT/UAT), and readiness for go-live.
• Develop internal expertise in IFS Finance through regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Comply with Evotec’s corporate values and regulations, including SOX, Quality, IT security, and Works Council guidelines.
• Ensure the production of compliant, high-quality documentation (process blueprints, functional designs, and user manuals) to support scalable and sustainable IFS solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues globally across various regions, including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and the US.
• Professional finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or a BSc/MSc degree in Finance/Accounting, or a strong financial background.
• Extensive hands-on experience with IFS Finance (IFS10 / IFS Cloud).
• Familiarity with the IFS Project Management module is highly desirable.
• Profound understanding of finance transformation and ERP best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to convert business strategy into system design.
• Confidence to question requirements and promote standardization.
• Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable collaborating across IT, Finance, and external stakeholders.
• Basic technical knowledge of IFS, including PL/SQL, and experience with Custom Configurations (Custom Fields, Menus, Logical Units, ACP, Events, and Lobbies).
• A robust IT mindset and a background in software development would be highly advantageous.
