This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Facilitate the integration of information security best practices across the organization, guided by user feedback and industry benchmarks.
• Effectively engage with internal teams to resolve user issues and enhance security compliance.
• Assist in IAM operations initiatives, which include access reviews, control implementations, and audits.
• Actively participate and represent IAM in projects and team meetings to ensure that security requirements are met in alignment with standards and policies.
• A minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in information security, vulnerability management, compliance, technology auditing, or a similar field within healthcare.
• Knowledge of NIST and CMS Cybersecurity Frameworks.
• Proven experience with a focus on information security and regulatory compliance oversight.
• Familiarity with healthcare settings and the development and execution of compliance plans.
• Ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative team player with a knack for working productively with others.
• Proficient in planning, problem-solving, analysis, collaboration, and communication.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to represent security matters before leadership.
• Capacity to influence and/or spearhead security-related business development initiatives.
• Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple high-pressure situations simultaneously.
