This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
β’ Oversee and address complete employee exit processes across various international locations, ensuring a top-notch offboarding experience for Remote's clients and their personnel.
β’ Offer expert advice and manage client inquiries regarding a range of HR topics, including but not limited to termination, resignation, transfer protocols, employment agreements, and redundancy procedures, while ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
β’ Organize and lead discussions with clients and external employees, including but not limited to workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separation negotiations, and terminations, providing direction on termination processes and communicating outcomes.
β’ Advocate and negotiate favorable resolutions in intricate termination cases, balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with and coordinate various internal and external parties to guarantee adherence to compliance during offboarding activities and audits, including but not limited to payroll, legal advisors, government agencies, and labor unions.
β’ Draft, customize, and manage all termination and supplementary documentation with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that employee records are upheld in strict accordance with privacy and confidentiality laws.
β’ Manage offboarding through Remote's internal HRIS system, working alongside various internal teams, such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance, to ensure all facets of the employee exit are handled accurately and timely.
β’ Serve as the subject matter expert, fielding internal and external inquiries related to offboarding matters in collaboration with Lifecycle's internal teams.
β’ Guide clients through Remote's Employee Relations resources and guides, assisting them in understanding relevant policies and procedures.
β’ Conduct initial evaluations of workplace issues, pinpointing key details and relevant local regulations.
β’ Work with internal and external partners to ensure proper management of employee relations issues.
β’ Assist clients in grasping progressive disciplinary methods and documentation needs.
β’ Keep track of ongoing employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination with necessary stakeholders.
β’ Proactively identify and contribute to enhancements in processes, automation, product development, and overall customer and employee experiences throughout offboarding and employee relations operations.
β’ Demonstrated experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, with broad HR competencies and exposure throughout the employee lifecycle.
β’ Proven track record in managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity, and legal adherence; providing all-encompassing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
β’ Capability to interpret and apply industrial agreements, analyze complex HR challenges, conduct research, deliver practical solutions, and effectively communicate recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar settings.
β’ Fundamental understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline methods, and basic workplace investigation techniques.
β’ Superior communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills, able to confidently navigate challenging discussions towards a positive outcome, often amidst conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
β’ Proficient business-level (advanced) written and spoken English, with additional languages being an advantage.
β’ A strong inclination and enthusiasm for innovation and process optimization, consistently identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and advocating for best practices.
β’ Operational efficiency with a keen awareness of the importance of meticulous record-keeping and data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy, capable of collaborating asynchronously using diverse tools, and adept at adapting to new and evolving systems.
β’ Ability to work independently and harmoniously within an international team in a dynamic, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities. Willingness to accommodate flexible hours as necessary.
