This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ Serve as the primary escalation point for intricate HR inquiries from employees and clients across the EMEA region, managing cases from evaluation to compliant resolution.
β’ Offer expertise on employment compliance, contracts, leave, benefits, payroll inquiries, employee relations, and offboarding processes.
β’ Assess risk independently and resolve high-priority cases whenever feasible.
β’ Utilize knowledge of employment practices in Spain, France, and Germany.
β’ Conduct sensitive conversations with employees and clients via phone or video to alleviate concerns and rebuild trust.
β’ Collaborate with Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and local providers to facilitate resolutions.
β’ Oversee ticket and email case queues, prioritizing urgent matters and adhering to service level agreements.
β’ Identify recurring challenges and develop standard operating procedures, knowledge base resources, and process enhancements.
β’ Mentor and support junior members of the support team.
β’ Ensure clear, audit-ready documentation of all case activities.
β’ Over 5 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, Employee Relations, EOR, PEO, HR shared services, or employment compliance within a multi-country EMEA setting.
β’ Strong practical knowledge of employment compliance and employee lifecycle processes.
β’ Direct experience in supporting Spain, France, and Germany is highly preferred.
β’ Proven ability to independently resolve complex escalations related to contracts, leave, payroll, benefits, terminations, employee relations, or compliance.
β’ Capable of de-escalating sensitive employee or client situations through clear, calm, and empathetic communication.
β’ Experience in a ticket-based HR support environment, managing case queues, SLAs, quality standards, and competing priorities.
β’ Ability to evaluate employment risk and provide sound recommendations.
β’ Strong stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating with Payroll, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Benefits, and external partners.
β’ Experience enhancing HR processes through root-cause analysis, standard operating procedures, knowledge management, or workflow automation.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
β’ Familiarity with HRIS and case management tools such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira, Workday, InterCom, or similar platforms.
β’ Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
