Senior Healthcare Provider Contracting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive financial impact evaluations for new provider contracts, renewals, amendments, and rate modifications.

• Create reimbursement models and financial methodologies for supporting value-based contract elements.

• Utilize advanced SQL for the extraction, transformation, and analysis of extensive Medicaid claims datasets.

• Collaborate closely with the Provider Contracting team to enhance negotiations through data-driven financial insights.

• Record assumptions, methodologies, benchmarks, and reconciliation logic relevant to provider contract financial assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in healthcare financial analysis, ideally in healthcare, managed care, provider contracting, or health plan operations.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare reimbursement analysis, provider payment modeling, or contract financial analysis.

• Experience in supporting a Medicaid Managed Care Plan or a Medicaid line of business.

• Proficient in advanced SQL, including complex joins, subqueries, aggregations, and performance-optimized query design.
