Senior Healthcare Encounter Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, analysis, and corrections on previously submitted Medicaid encounters rejected by Pharmacy.

• Review setups and configurations.

• Analyze text files and content to identify trends or issues related to data integrity.

• Create innovative solutions grounded in research and analysis.

• Manage a select group of clients.

• Establish and, when necessary, nurture relationships with key client-side stakeholders.

• Generate regular metric reports, mainly utilizing SAS and a proprietary variant of AS400.

• Take part in regular client meetings.

• Effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.

• Lead conference calls when required.

• Collaborate as part of a multifunctional team while making independent decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of professional experience in data analysis.

• More than 2 years of proficiency in Excel within a professional or academic environment.

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Prior experience with Medicaid Encounters or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in explaining technical information to non-technical individuals.

• Experience with SAS or a proprietary version of AS400 is advantageous.

• Ability to think critically and manage multiple tasks effectively.
