Senior GSA – Tax & Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main contact for clients, ensuring the timely and precise delivery of accounting and tax services.

• Oversee and manage clients' accounting and tax compliance obligations, including tax and statutory submissions.

• Offer advice to clients on best practices in accounting and taxation.

• Collaborate with internal teams and local service providers to guarantee timely service delivery.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both clients and local service providers/teams to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions proactively.

• Assist in the creation and execution of new services and processes aimed at enhancing the client experience.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of client records and keep all documentation current and complete by utilizing systems such as Salesforce, SharePoint, FreshDesk, Microsoft Teams, and any other relevant software.

• Generate service tickets and verify data provided by clients and/or local service providers/teams. Track the status of assigned tasks and tickets, and provide regular updates as necessary.

• Address client ad hoc inquiries, ensuring the appropriate teams are engaged in case of escalations or opportunities for service expansions.

• Establish and uphold a region and/or service line-specific knowledge base.

• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting and Tax in a client-facing service delivery role.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is advantageous.

• Proficient in IFRS and US GAAP standards.

• Familiarity with market accounting systems such as Netsuite, Xero, SAGE Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

• General understanding of the complexities and differences in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable & Receivable Processes, Management Reporting, Consolidation services, and related areas across various jurisdictions.
