This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver specialized assessment and management of claims related to Group Income Protection and Group Critical Illness.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Handle an independent caseload of claims effectively.
• Evaluate new claim notifications thoroughly.
• Perform proactive reviews of claims that are currently in payment.
• Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Team as necessary.
• Collect information via telephone from all involved parties.
• Request and evaluate evidence for claims.
• Facilitate decision-making and comprehensive reviews of claims.
• Communicate with sensitivity and effectiveness with vulnerable customers, including managing challenging conversations.
• Experience in claims management, specifically for Group Income Protection and Critical Illness.
• CII Claims qualifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and driving Continuous Improvement.
• Capability to manage fluctuating workloads, pressures, and priorities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly build professional and effective working relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in communicating sensitively and effectively with vulnerable customers.
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
