Senior GRC Analyst, SOC 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Oversee and perform comprehensive external audits of clients' operational processes and IT controls, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

• Examine, document, assess, and verify critical business process transactions, access controls, change management protocols, operational and organizational controls, and automated controls during engagements.

• Analyze, document, evaluate, and test application controls, particularly automated systems across a diverse range of software applications and client business processes.

• Assess clients' business, IT, and security-related risks, pinpointing areas of concern and suggesting suitable control measures and process enhancements to reduce risks.

• Review security policies and procedures, evaluating risk management/risk assessment documentation, and controls associated with clients’ business applications, networks, operating systems, and other elements of their technological infrastructure.

• Assist with internal and external security assessments of both new and existing services and infrastructure, incorporating operational, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing insights into their business operations, risks, and compliance needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Audit or related auditing roles.

• Proven experience leading SOC 2 audits.

• Familiarity with controls reviews, along with the capacity to recommend, design, and advise on relevant IT controls.

• Experience in teaching, training, and mentoring other staff members is preferred.

• Holding a relevant professional designation such as CISA, CISSP, CIPP, etc., is advantageous.

• Preferred experience with SOC 2 readiness platforms (e.g., Drata, Vanta, etc.).
