Senior Golang Developer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with Golang.

• Development of REST APIs.

• Familiarity with gRPC is highly advantageous.

• Adherence to best practices for structuring Go projects.

• Knowledge of concurrency in Go: including goroutines, channels, context, mutexes, and worker pools.

• Competence in proper error handling.

• Experience with unit tests, mocks, and integration tests.

• Skills in profiling and performance optimization.

• Understanding of Clean Code, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns applied to backend development.

• Experience working with microservices.

• Proficiency in synchronous and asynchronous communication between services.

• Familiarity with messaging/events using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.

• Understanding of idempotency, retries, fallbacks, circuit breakers, and timeouts.

• Knowledge of eventual consistency.

• Experience in scalability and resilience.

• Ability to work with high transactional-volume systems.

• Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.

• Experience with NoSQL databases like Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar.

• Skills in data modeling.

• Experience in query optimization.

• Knowledge of indexes, transactions, and concurrency control.

• Familiarity with caching strategies.

• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD processes.

• Skills in observability, including logging, metrics, and tracing.

• Familiarity with tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, or similar.

• Ability to investigate production incidents.

• Understanding of SLOs, SLAs, alerting, and runbooks.

• Knowledge of best practices for authentication and authorization.

• Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, or similar technologies.

• Skills in protecting sensitive data.

• Understanding of API security.

• Basic knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law) and secure development practices.
