Senior Golang Backend Engineer – MilTech Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and build backend components within a secure DSC environment.

• Create APIs to enable smooth interaction with other system components.

• Develop business logic, state models, event processing, and logging mechanisms.

• Collaborate with MS SQL Server, optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity.

• Integrate with related systems and services.

• Engage in technical design, task estimation, and code reviews.

• Diagnose and resolve defects identified during testing, security audits, and acceptance phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Golang development.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and developing backend services, REST/gRPC APIs, and system integrations.

• Strong proficiency with MS SQL Server, including schema design, transactions, indexes, stored procedures, and query optimization.

• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Linux environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of secure development principles such as authorization, authentication, access control, auditing, and API protection.

• Experience with microservices or modular architectural frameworks.

• Capability to write maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.

• Background in participating in code reviews and technical design discussions.

• Commitment to working within secure infrastructure and adhering to stringent information security protocols.

• Preferred: Experience in developing government information systems or highly secure platforms.

• Knowledge of digital signature (КЕП), user action logging, and audit trails.

• Experience with integrating systems across isolated or protected environments.

• Practical experience with MS SQL Server in production settings.

• Understanding of Kubernetes, message brokers, and event-driven architecture.

• Experience in handling high-load or mission-critical services.
