Senior Go Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement highly scalable backend services while prioritizing performance and security.

• Work in collaboration with designers, scientists, and engineers to provide solutions for real-world challenges faced by our users in laboratory settings.

• Assist in defining the technical and product vision, engaging with the team to shape the future of the product, identify features to develop, and determine the approaches for their implementation.

• Maintain continuous, high-availability operation of our services through modern reliability methodologies, which include comprehensive observability and participation in an on-call rotation.

• Engage in code reviews and resolve any performance or security concerns that arise.

• Promote sustainable and maintainable software practices across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in backend development for products and enterprise software.

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on development experience in Cloud or AWS.

• Proficient in database technologies, including SQL or NoSQL.

• Demonstrated experience working with startups or small, growing enterprises.

• Comprehensive experience throughout the software product development life cycle.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization purposes.

• Experience with distributed systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and contemporary build tools.

• Experience with cloud infrastructures such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as containers and observability tools.
