Senior Go / Kubernetes Developer - Cloud & Edge Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create Kubernetes Operators and Controllers utilizing Go.

• Build cloud-native backend services along with Kubernetes-native APIs.

• Conceptualize and execute Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and reconciliation logic.

• Streamline the provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud, edge, and bare-metal infrastructure.

• Integrate infrastructure, networking, and platform components through Kubernetes APIs.

• Create and uphold automated unit and integration tests.

• Assess, diagnose, and enhance Go applications as well as Kubernetes controllers.

• Contribute to technical architecture, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.

• Collaborate with specialists in infrastructure, networking, security, and AI/ML.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in software development with significant hands-on expertise in Go / Golang.

• Proven track record in developing Kubernetes Operators and/or Custom Controllers using Go.

• Strong working knowledge of the Kubernetes API, CRDs, and reconciliation patterns.

• Familiarity with popular Kubernetes development frameworks such as controller-runtime, client-go, Kubebuilder, or Operator SDK.

• Solid understanding of Go concurrency, APIs, testing, and backend/service development.

• Experience in developing and managing containerized applications.

• Good grasp of cloud-native and distributed infrastructure.

• Knowledge of compute, networking, storage, and automated provisioning.

• Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
