Senior Global Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess both standard and non-standard agreements to determine suitable revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15, ensuring accurate configuration in NetSuite (Zone Advanced Billing).

• Take ownership of deferred and unbilled revenue schedules, which includes monthly account reconciliations, analytics, and validation of license fulfillment.

• Execute control processes to identify, investigate, and address any unusual activities in GL accounts and our automated billing system.

• Spearhead process enhancement initiatives aimed at increasing automation and reinforcing controls, including projects within Dataiku DSS.

• Work collaboratively across departments with Technical Accounting, AR, Tax, Deal Desk, Legal, and Professional Services on both ongoing and special projects.

• Assist in drafting accounting memos and support external audit requests related to all revenue matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on revenue recognition (ASC 606 or IFRS 15).

• A background that combines public accounting (Big 4 or Big 10, with a minimum of 2–3 years) and industry experience — you have engaged directly with the systems, not just reviewed others' work.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent credentials are preferred.

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities while thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.

• A collaborative approach — able to work effectively across various teams, cultures, and personalities.

• Practical experience with NetSuite and Salesforce CRM; familiarity with Zone Advanced Billing is a significant advantage.

• Previous experience in a software or SaaS organization.

• Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.

• Knowledge of SQL, Ruby, or Python is a plus.
