This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with the accounting and finance departments to enhance core operational functions, serving as a proactive problem solver to ensure smooth daily workflows.
• Facilitate a prompt and precise month-end closing process by conducting balance sheet reconciliations, verifying general ledger account balances, and investigating discrepancies.
• Assist in both internal and external accounts payable workflows and contribute to regular revenue accounting, ensuring accurate execution, data integrity, and process enhancements across both areas.
• Prepare, organize, and meticulously review Provided by Client (PBC) lists and supporting documentation for statutory audits, ensuring that all support is clean and 'audit-ready' prior to external submission.
• Record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, oversee intercompany transactions, and analyze balance sheet/income statement metrics comprehensively.
• Utilize and manage workflows within NetSuite, Avalara, Carta, Google Workspace, Rippling, and AI tools such as Claude to automate routine tasks, analyze data, and enhance efficiency in the month-end closing process.
• A minimum of 4 years of core accounting experience, gained from an accounting firm or a rapidly growing corporate setting.
• CPA License is preferred, or candidates should be actively pursuing it.
• Proficient in preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and PBC lists.
• A tech-savvy individual with a keen interest in leveraging AI tools (such as Claude) to streamline financial workflows, enhance data analysis, and improve documentation processes.
• Strong technical expertise in full-cycle accounting, transactional reconciliations, and maintaining balance sheet integrity.
• Nice-to-Have: Direct experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments, or familiarity with multi-currency intercompany transactions and sales tax nexus configurations.
