This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• In this position, you will ensure that the general ledger and financial reporting are accurate, complete, timely, and in compliance with GAAP.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls related to general ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries while conducting reconciliations for designated accounts.
• Analyze financial trends and investigate discrepancies within the general ledger and financial statements.
• Aid in maintaining company-wide adherence to reconciliation standards and internal control protocols.
• Execute investment portfolio accounting entries and related reconciliations.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and supporting reports, which includes analyzing and explaining budget variances.
• Facilitate regulatory reporting by preparing data for filings such as FDIC Call Reports and SEC reports.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all relevant regulatory requirements.
• You possess an Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Required).
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of accounting or relevant experience (Required).
