Senior Global Benefits Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement DigitalOcean’s worldwide benefits strategy

• Conduct utilization and cost analyses to oversee healthcare expenditures

• Collaborate with brokers and vendors to secure competitive renewals

• Enhance global leave of absence management by streamlining workflows

• Spearhead global open enrollment strategies and communication initiatives

• Work alongside Legal, Payroll, and Finance to ensure compliance

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of progressive benefits experience in global, rapidly growing, publicly traded tech firms

• Proficiency across the US, Canada, Europe, India, and Pakistan

• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar benefits budgets

• Assessment of funding structures (including full to self-funded models)

• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex logic formulas, xlookup/vlookup, data modeling)

• Outstanding communication abilities to simplify complex plan mechanics

• Proactive approach with a focus on process efficiency and automation

• Preferred: Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) certification and experience with Workday Benefits
