This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversees operations related to patient access to ensure precise intake, coverage verification, and prompt initiation of services.
• Directs daily execution of workflows associated with patient access activities throughout the health system.
• Manages the resolution of barriers to access that impact authorization, eligibility, and financial clearance results.
• Tracks operational metrics to pinpoint service deficiencies and aid in process enhancements.
• Facilitates cross-functional escalations involving reimbursement, care coordination, and teams that engage with providers.
• Guides training, coaching, and performance evaluation for the patient access team.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, pharmacy, public health, life sciences, operations management, or a similar discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• More than 5 years of experience in patient services, customer operations, case management, reimbursement support, access assistance, healthcare service delivery, or a related area.
• Over 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Preferred certification in service management, process improvement, project management, customer relationship management systems, or patient support operations.
