Senior GIS Solution Engineer – Public Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate relationships. Present, demonstrate, and assist in selling Esri software and solutions as a member of the account team. Establish connections with technical enterprise-level decision makers and lead technical meetings that enhance revenue.

• Be a specialist. Serve as a technical authority on Esri technology and a subject matter expert in Public Safety. Showcase your advanced comprehension of sales strategies and initiatives to formulate complex solutions for Esri’s most pivotal customers. Grasp an organization’s business framework, related workflows, third-party business systems, and integration points. Share insights and mentor new team members on best practices.

• Resolve issues. Actively design and propose solutions that illustrate how GIS adds business value for our clients by tackling the significant challenges they encounter. Define and implement intricate strategies that align Esri technology with the business needs of our largest clients.

• Share our narrative. Create presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences among Esri’s major customers. Provide configuration advice and best practices. Present at significant conferences and executive meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Esri technology, including map creation, spatial analysis, and web application configuration.

• More than 3 years of experience in the Public Safety sector.

• Extensive knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT perspective (including hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing).

• Proven experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.

• Familiarity with sales and business development processes.

• Capability to troubleshoot client issues regarding Esri application deployment and system architecture.

• Experience with geodatabases and the underlying DBMS technology.

• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and environments (such as Microsoft Azure or AWS).

• Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems, including data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.

• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python and JavaScript.

• Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and listening abilities.

• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.

• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, undergo a background investigation, and meet security clearance eligibility requirements for Secret, Top Secret (TS), TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with polygraph.
