Senior GIS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in defining geospatial data needs for a major project.

• Join a team of GIS developers focused on gathering and preparing geospatial data.

• Investigate and compile data for designated areas.

• Employ open-source tools to preprocess and align datasets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable field.

• At least 2 years of pertinent experience in a rapidly evolving technology setting.

• Familiarity with GIS data types and modalities, such as orthoimagery, point clouds, vector data, elevation raster data, and land cover data.

• Software engineering capabilities, encompassing software design and architecture.

• Expertise in Python for automating routine processes.
