Senior General Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee all claims administration activities within the claims system

• Manage files with independent adjusters, providing guidance on coverage and claim assessment

• Assess policy coverage and maintain communication with insured parties

• Collaborate with other insurance providers involved in the risk

• Partner with underwriters regarding policy coverage and assist in drafting policy language

• Travel to loss locations and attend meetings with insured individuals and market stakeholders during the claims adjustment process

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Property policies and Business Interruption coverage

• Understanding of policy interpolation

• Excellent communication and writing abilities

• At least 5 years of experience in managing Property claims

• Competence in evaluating policy coverage

• Capability to collaborate with independent adjusters, insured parties, underwriters, and other insurance organizations

• Approximately 10% travel is necessary
