Senior GenAI Engineer, Agentic AI, Databricks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Engage proactively in architectural decisions and share responsibility for the technical direction.

• Design, construct, and manage AI agents focused on data collection, indexing, and market intelligence applications.

• Create and sustain data pipelines and lakehouse frameworks within Databricks.

• Enhance the knowledge-modeling layer by developing ontologies that support agent reasoning.

• Integrate agents with Databricks Genie or custom agent frameworks.

• Develop robust web-scraping and content-indexing components utilizing Python.

• Identify and recommend enhancements to the architecture, codebase, and team practices.

• Collaborate through brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive engineering experience at a senior level, managing complex technical solutions from design to production.

• Proficient in Python engineering.

• Practical experience with GenAI, including applications based on large language models, agentic frameworks, and prompt/tool orchestration.

• Skills in data engineering, including the construction of pipelines and handling both structured and unstructured data.

• Familiarity with Databricks, including lakehouse architecture, notebooks, and workflows.

• Comfort in making decisions based on incomplete information and the ability to justify technical choices.

• Tech-agnostic perspective and capability to assess, adopt, and transition between various frameworks, agent stacks, and platforms.

• Experience with knowledge graphs or ontology-based methodologies (desirable).

• Background in web scraping/crawling at scale (desirable).

• Familiarity with Databricks Genie or agent frameworks connected to data platforms (desirable).

• Experience in market intelligence, competitive analysis, or content indexing (desirable).

• Experience in shaping architecture for early-stage or greenfield projects (desirable).
