This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate production and design workflows to pinpoint bottlenecks and underlying issues
• Enhance sprint planning, scope management, dependency oversight, release discipline, and clarify definitions of “ready” and “done”
• Facilitate cross-discipline alignment among design, development, art, QA, and data/UA
• Transform ambiguity into definitive decisions, build-ready specifications, and structured execution plans
• Mentor producers and designers to achieve higher-quality independent execution
• Direct hands-on design of core loops, progression systems, economy, monetization, and LiveOps frameworks
• Develop clear, buildable, measurable, and testable design specifications that include edge cases, tuning strategies, and KPI targets
• Enhance first-time user experience (FTUE), early retention, session flow, and mid/late-game objectives
• Lead structured playtests and quick feedback loops
• Educate and guide internal producers and designers through reviews, workshops, templates, and a culture of critique
• Set and uphold a studio-wide standard for design quality
• Define A/B test plans for key hypotheses
• Utilize dashboards and telemetry to pinpoint issues and opportunities
• Transform insights into prioritized backlog items and actionable design measures
• Keep leadership informed on status, risks, and next steps
• Compose succinct summaries and decision notes
• Ensure teams comprehend success criteria for each initiative
• Create a consistent production rhythm from planning through to release
• Standardize documentation for features, economy/progression, tuning, and experiments
• Conduct regular product/design reviews that include decisions, action items, and assigned ownership
• Provide ongoing product health updates and priority summaries to leadership
• Co-manage the prioritization of major product initiatives, roadmap trade-offs, and scope decisions alongside the Studio Lead and Game Leads
• Influence user acquisition and monetization enhancements through product adjustments, experiments, and recommendations
• 5–10+ years of experience in mobile free-to-play production and/or game design
• Proven track record of shipping multiple live products or significant updates, not solely prototypes
• Strong foundational knowledge in systems design, including progression, economy, rewards, monetization, and LiveOps
• Proficient in production fundamentals such as scope management, planning, cross-team collaboration, and risk assessment
• Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to develop build-ready specifications
• Comfortable leading remotely and influencing without direct authority
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Expertise in hybrid simulation/management games is preferred as an added advantage
• Experience working across multiple time zones is preferred as an added advantage
• Familiarity with Unity pipelines and constraints; coding skills are not necessary
• Experience in building production/design systems from the ground up is preferred as an added advantage
• Availability for at least 4–5 hours of daily overlap with Pakistan Standard Time (GMT+5)
• Availability for key overlap hours with GMT+5
• Capability to work remotely on a full-time basis
