Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Integrations Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features and platform primitives utilized by internal teams, partners, and customers.

• Contribute to services related to authentication, data ingestion, and schema evolution.

• Create secure, well-documented, and scalable services and user interfaces using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

• Enhance performance, operational excellence, and software development lifecycle practices within the team.

• Leverage AI tools and workflows to expedite development and operational processes.

• Collaborate closely with teams and partners relying on delivered products and systems.

• Develop the Integration Platform that powers Vanta’s ecosystem consisting of over 400 integrations.

• Establish shared primitives for authentication, lifecycle management, observability, and publishing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of full-stack development experience in creating reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.

• Proven experience in designing APIs and reusable platform components.

• Strong foundation in RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth, API keys, and JWT.

• Understanding of security best practices.

• Experience in building data ingestion solutions from external systems, including cloud providers, HRIS, identity providers, and code repositories.

• Knowledge of rate limiting, retries, idempotency, and webhooks.

• Capacity to design for scalability, reliability, and failure scenarios.

• Willingness to utilize AI responsibly to enhance efficiency and impact.

• Experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
