Senior Fullstack Engineer – Search & Discovery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Assume the role of primary owner for the Search & Discovery domain at PMG

• Propel this domain forward by defining the strategic roadmap and executing the associated code

• Oversee how millions of users navigate our platforms

• Enhance search relevance, ranking algorithms, filtering, and auto-complete features

• Establish the foundation for the future of AI-driven semantic search.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 6 years of engineering experience

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript

• Capability to transform a high-level product vision into a detailed technical roadmap

• Direct experience in building and optimizing core search functionalities

• Practical experience with search engines such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Algolia

• Strong experience in developing scalable web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and React

• Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL)

• Regular use of AI tools in daily tasks

• Proficiency in English is essential.
