Senior Fullstack Engineer, Python, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Full Stack Feature Delivery - Engage in discussions, planning, design, development, and deployment of features across the entire stack, ranging from refined user-facing interfaces to the backend services and AI-driven APIs that support them. Contribute to capabilities relied upon daily by thousands of businesses.

• System Ownership - Take responsibility for the overall quality of your system, encompassing aspects such as quality, reliability, performance, and the user experience produced by your work. Assist in evolving the architecture as we transition modules into standalone services.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to establish both the user experience and the technical strategies that bring it to fruition.

• Quality and Craft - Oversee code reviews through Pull Requests and foster a culture of rapid progress while ensuring robust unit tests and code quality. Address and resolve bugs, often engaging directly with users to comprehend the issues and ensure resolution.

• Get Creative with AI - Leverage AI tools, workflows, and automations to enhance the design, writing, testing, and deployment processes, and apply that same innovative mindset to the AI-driven features we develop for our clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in building web applications utilizing contemporary software engineering methodologies.

• Expertise in Python and Django for backend development.

• Proficient in frontend development, preferably with Angular, along with hands-on experience in utilizing a design system or shared component library.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) integrated into daily workflows, as well as insights into their advantages and limitations.

• Proven experience in constructing performant and scalable systems across both frontend and backend, making practical trade-offs, with previous work to reference.

• An instinct for troubleshooting complex issues, whether they originate from frontend rendering anomalies or database performance challenges.

• A tendency to critically evaluate your work and pose questions aimed at enhancing the product, not just regarding its technical implementation but also its effectiveness in meeting user needs.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical concepts to the entire team.

• A proactive attitude towards resolving issues when they arise and driving them to their root cause.

• Nice to haves:

• Experience with fintech, accounting, or ERP integrations.

• Background in developing features utilizing LLMs or AI APIs.

• Familiarity with AWS and modern DevOps methodologies.

• A strong product sense - an instinct for identifying what makes a feature truly valuable.
