Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and Develop: Create and sustain scalable healthcare AI applications utilizing Java and React.

• Architect Solutions: Develop resilient, high-performance, and maintainable system architectures, focusing on best practices for cloud applications.

• Collaborate: Partner closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to convert requirements into effective solutions.

• Optimize Performance: Actively identify and address performance bottlenecks to guarantee high application availability and efficiency.

• Innovate: Play a key role in the creation of state-of-the-art features by harnessing the potential of AI and machine learning.

• Code Review: Engage in code reviews to promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.

• Maintain Quality: Develop comprehensive tests and documentation to ensure code quality and ease of maintenance.

• Deployment and Support: Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, ranging from internal development to customer production systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.

• Over 4 years of professional software development experience, emphasizing full-stack development, including backend APIs, frontend UI, system integrations, and user authentication.

• In-depth knowledge of Java programming, with experience in designing and implementing highly optimized and scalable architectures.

• Proven experience in building enterprise-level full-stack applications using Spring Boot, React, UX design frameworks, and both relational and document databases.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, with experience in both building and consuming REST APIs.

• Extensive experience with relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, as well as document databases like MongoDB and its derivatives.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
