Senior Fullstack Developer, PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Join a team dedicated to quality, innovative processes, and agile development methodologies.

• Conduct both corrective and evolutionary maintenance on a legacy system built with PHP on the back end and React on the front end.

• Ensure the system's stability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.

• Detect bugs, analyze root causes, and apply effective solutions.

• Enhance existing features and accommodate new business requirements.

• Guarantee proper integration of PHP systems with external APIs, databases, and other systems.

• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation that outlines changes and improvements implemented.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including QA, product management, and fellow developers.

• Utilize best practices for version control, design patterns, and code review within a legacy environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• At least five years of demonstrated hands-on experience in developing and maintaining PHP applications, especially legacy systems.

• Proficient knowledge of the Laravel framework.

• Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and continuous integration methodologies.

• Capability to work with legacy code, performing refactoring as necessary.

• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

• An analytical, resilient profile with a focus on problem-solving.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps is an advantage.
